This month has seen two of the regulatory bodies being particularly active with TPR publishing their first Annual Funding Statement under the new funding code, the FCA concluded their policy sprint, supporting new ways to help consumers make important investment decisions as well as new proposals on Consumer Composite Investments. The then both got together to discuss the future development of the joint value for money (VFM) framework. I addition, we also had the DWPs Small Pots Delivery Group report with proposed legislative programme outlined. A busy month indeed! Our cover story comes from Kate Stein and Ed Day from WTW on how Property insurance faces existential risk from climate change. We also have Charl Cronje from LCP examining the four dimensions of reserving uncertainty. We have a new addition to our stable of regular articles with the IFoA starting a six-part series introducing Chartered Actuaries part one features Chartered Actuary Lisa Balboa from Hannover Re. We also have, among others, Heikki Vesanto at LexisNexis Risk Solutions on Key Tools in Flood Risk Assessment and Dale Critchley examining how behavioural bias is impacting retirement outcomes.
